Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled, 2013 by Razvan Boar was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 3,570.00 (€ 2,952.12). Other works by Razvan Boar have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2019 by the work Zuni at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,250.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled, 2013 von Razvan Boar im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 3.570,00 (€ 2.952,12) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Razvan Boar wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2019 die Arbeit Zuni mit GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.250,18).
