A top price for Tsham Mateng
In April 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Congolese L'Unicitation by Tsham Mateng. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,632.89), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, Congolese L'Unicitation is even the most expensive work of art by Tsham Mateng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Congolese L'Unicitation von Tsham Mateng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.632,89) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Congolese L'Unicitation sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tsham Mateng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
