It achieved a price of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,802.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Raymond Materson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Till Death Do Us Part, 1993 in February last year with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,955.81).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.802,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Materson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Till Death Do Us Part, 1993 im Februar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.955,81).
