Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Raymond de Botton for USD 750.00 (€ 537.75). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond de Botton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Horse in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,962.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raymond de Botton für USD 750,00 (€ 537,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond de Botton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The White Horse im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.962,50).
