In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Jolly Div by Rasim Babayev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,252.86), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rasim Babayev; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Volchitsa [Wolverine|AID115863] sold at auction in February 2007 with the realized price of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,121.13).

Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jolly Div von Rasim Babayev zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.252,86) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rasim Babayev; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Volchitsa [Wolverine|AID115863] im Februar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.121,13).
