The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,364.63), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rasik Durgashanker Raval have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lovers in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 14,828.24).
