Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nativité by Raphy Dallèves was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of CHF 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for CHF 125,000.00 (€ 114,275.70). Other works by Raphy Dallèves have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2012 by the work Jeunes Valaisannes Au Parc Aux Chèvres, 1911 Girls From The Valais At The Goat Park, 1911 at CHF 266,500.00 (€ 221,774.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nativité von Raphy Dallèves im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für CHF 125.000,00 (€ 114.275,70) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Raphy Dallèves wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2012 die Arbeit Jeunes Valaisannes Au Parc Aux Chèvres, 1911 Girls From The Valais At The Goat Park, 1911 mit CHF 266.500,00 (€ 221.774,79).
