Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Bonhams held the auction European ArtHeritage and Innovation, 1850-1950, which included the work Mary Cassatt dans l'atelier by Raphaël Lewisohn. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,355.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raphaël Lewisohn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait de Mary Cassatt dans son atelier, which sold at auction in March 2018 for EUR 12,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion European ArtHeritage and Innovation, 1850-1950 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mary Cassatt dans l'atelier von Raphaël Lewisohn zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.355,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Raphaël Lewisohn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait de Mary Cassatt dans son atelier beobachtet, die im März 2018 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
