This artwork by Raphaël Dubois achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the A Dealer Is Selling Off auction, the work The artist in his studio sold for EUR 2,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raphaël Dubois - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian Au Matin, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 5,250.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Raphaël Dubois mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian Au Matin beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
