Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition imaginaire by Raoul Dufy was sold in the Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part I auction at Christies in London in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 37,738.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition imaginaire von Raoul Dufy wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part I bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 37.738,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
