A top price for Rao Zongyi
The work Auspicious Flowers and Fruits by Rao Zongyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 8,040,000.00 (€ 894,338.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. This high result makes Auspicious Flowers and Fruits the most expensive artwork by Rao Zongyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
