In October 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Gitanes Sur La Plaza by Ramón Pichot Girones. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,926.00 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Gitanes Sur La Plaza is even the most expensive work of art by Ramón Pichot Girones that we have observed at auctions so far.
