This artwork by Ramon Orlina achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Michael's martial art form 07-2 sold for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 13,711.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. This high result makes Michael's martial art form 07-2 the most expensive artwork by Ramon Orlina that we have observed at auctions so far.
