This artwork by Ramin Haerizadeh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2010. In the International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi auction, the work Wonders of the Creatures sold for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,987.52) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ramin Haerizadeh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Buffalo Soldier sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,181.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ramin Haerizadeh erzielte im April 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi wurde die Arbeit Wonders of the Creatures für USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.987,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ramin Haerizadeh; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Buffalo Soldier im April 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.181,16).
