This artwork by Ramazan Bayrakoglu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part I auction, the work Sandra sold for USD 92,500.00 (€ 71,384.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ramazan Bayrakoglu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Motorsiklet (Motorcycle) sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of GBP 63,650.00 (€ 78,064.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ramazan Bayrakoglu erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part I wurde die Arbeit Sandra für USD 92.500,00 (€ 71.384,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ramazan Bayrakoglu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Motorsiklet (Motorcycle) im April 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 63.650,00 (€ 78.064,95).
