In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/Turkish, which included the work Bayan (Lady) by Ramazan Bayrakoglu. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,524.13), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ramazan Bayrakoglu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Motorsiklet (Motorcycle), which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 63,650.00 (€ 78,064.95).

Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bayan (Lady) von Ramazan Bayrakoglu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.524,13) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ramazan Bayrakoglu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Motorsiklet (Motorcycle) beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 63.650,00 (€ 78.064,95) versteigert wurde.
