Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART & DOGS, which included the work The Artist'S Pets by Ralph Hedley. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,735.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ralph Hedley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Uncle Toby And The Dicky Bird Society was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,246.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion SPORTING ART & DOGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Artist'S Pets von Ralph Hedley zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.735,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Ralph Hedley konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Uncle Toby And The Dicky Bird Society für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.246,97) versteigert.
