Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Viterbo by Ragheb Ayad. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,799.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ragheb Ayad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work To The Animal Market in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 88,167.55).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Viterbo von Ragheb Ayad zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.799,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ragheb Ayad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit To The Animal Market im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 88.167,55).
