Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction I Coluri d'Umani - Contemporary Art Sale Benefiting to Association pour une Fondation de Corse, which included the work Transfiguration by Rafik El Kamel. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 801.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafik El Kamel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Transfiguration No.6 in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,512.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion I Coluri d'Umani - Contemporary Art Sale Benefiting to Association pour une Fondation de Corse durch, in der auch die Arbeit Transfiguration von Rafik El Kamel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 801,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafik El Kamel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Transfiguration No.6 im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.512,47).
