In December last year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Ritorno dai campi by Raffaello Sorbi. The result of EUR 4,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,500.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raffaello Sorbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian saltarello Cavallucio (A Game Of Leapfrog) in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 250,960.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritorno dai campi von Raffaello Sorbi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.500,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raffaello Sorbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian saltarello Cavallucio (A Game Of Leapfrog) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 250.960,80).
