Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Personaje cósmico by Rafael Soriano. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 50,400.00 (€ 51,517.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rafael Soriano have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Fuente Cálida was auctioned for USD 81,900.00 (€ 72,561.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personaje cósmico von Rafael Soriano zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 51.517,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Rafael Soriano konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Fuente Cálida für USD 81.900,00 (€ 72.561,35) versteigert.
