Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Carres Sur Bleu - 1970 by Rafael Martinez. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafael Martinez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lignes dans l'espace, which sold at auction in December 2018 for EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carres Sur Bleu - 1970 von Rafael Martinez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rafael Martinez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lignes dans l'espace beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert wurde.
