In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Rafael Ferrer. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,570.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Ferrer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nocturno Criollo en Fan Fan's in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 21,322.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rafael Ferrer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.570,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Ferrer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nocturno Criollo en Fan Fan's im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 21.322,97).
