A top price for Rafael de Ochoa y Madrazo - as previously expected
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision, which included the work La Carta (The Letter) by Rafael de Ochoa y Madrazo. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Carta (The Letter) is the most expensive artwork by Rafael de Ochoa y Madrazo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Carta (The Letter) von Rafael de Ochoa y Madrazo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.002,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
