Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included this untitled work by Rachel Kneebone. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,500.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rachel Kneebone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Chasse in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,410.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rachel Kneebone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.500,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachel Kneebone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Chasse im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.410,05).
