Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Quac Insik. The result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,266.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Quac Insik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 63 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 119,706.54).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Quac Insik zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.266,50) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Quac Insik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 63 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 119.706,54).
