Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo and Rock by Qu Yingshao was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,275.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qu Yingshao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bamboos and Rocks, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 29,750.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bamboo and Rock von Qu Yingshao wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.275,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qu Yingshao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bamboos and Rocks beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 29.750,54) versteigert wurde.
