Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cloudy Mountains by Qu Guliang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,955.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qu Guliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape of Clouds, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,170.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains von Qu Guliang kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.955,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qu Guliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape of Clouds beobachtet, die im September 2019 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.170,11) versteigert wurde.
