The work Listening To The Muisc Fan by Qiu Ying was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 437,000.00 (€ 41,469.03). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Ying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Celestial Mountains and Pavilions in June this year with an auction result of HKD 31,230,000.00 (€ 3,649,219.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Listening To The Muisc Fan von Qiu Ying wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 437.000,00 (€ 41.469,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Ying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Celestial Mountains and Pavilions im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 31.230.000,00 (€ 3.649.219,78).
