This artwork by Qiu Ying achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape Fan sold for HKD 195,500.00 (€ 18,551.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Ying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Celestial Mountains and Pavilions in June this year with an auction result of HKD 31,230,000.00 (€ 3,649,219.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qiu Ying erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape Fan für HKD 195.500,00 (€ 18.551,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Ying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Celestial Mountains and Pavilions im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 31.230.000,00 (€ 3.649.219,78).
