Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Xingshu by Qin Zhongwen was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,679.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qin Zhongwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Wang Meng in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,266.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu von Qin Zhongwen wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.679,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qin Zhongwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Meng im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.266,50).
