Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Desire Landscape No.2 by Qin Feng was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qin Feng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 341,980.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Desire Landscape No.2 von Qin Feng wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qin Feng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Seasons im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 341.980,69).
