A top price for Qin Ai
The work Accidental Meeting by Qin Ai was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese New Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 1,062,000 (€ 109,336), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. With this result, Accidental Meeting is even the most expensive work of art by Qin Ai that we have observed at auctions so far.
