Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Qian Song. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 1,067.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,901.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Qian Song zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 1.067,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.901,95).
