Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu by Qian Song was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,114.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Song - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,901.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu von Qian Song wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.114,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Song mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.901,95) versteigert wurde.
