This artwork by Qian Gong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work A Fine Day sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,766.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Gong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishman , which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,651.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Gong erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit A Fine Day für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.766,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Gong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishman beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.651,78) versteigert wurde.
