This artwork by Qian Dajun achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Motto In Seal Script (Han Dynasty，3Th Century Bc - 1St Century) sold for HKD 7,080.00 (€ 862.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Dajun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Excerpt from Analects and The Art of War in Seal Script in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,232.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Dajun erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Motto In Seal Script (Han Dynasty，3Th Century Bc - 1St Century) für HKD 7.080,00 (€ 862,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Dajun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Excerpt from Analects and The Art of War in Seal Script im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.232,54).
