Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "The Lament" In Running Script by Qian Chenqun was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,804.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Qian Chenqun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work DRAGON was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,637.65).
