A top price for Qi Liangyi
The work Morning Glory and Bees by Qi Liangyi was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney in April 2021. It achieved a price of AUD 3,075.00 (€ 2,556.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. With this result, Morning Glory and Bees is even the most expensive work of art by Qi Liangyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
