Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Shrimps by Qi Liangyi was sold in the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,338.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Qi Liangyi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work Morning Glory and Bees was auctioned for AUD 3,075.00 (€ 2,556.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Shrimps von Qi Liangyi wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.338,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Qi Liangyi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit Morning Glory and Bees für AUD 3.075,00 (€ 2.556,11) versteigert.
