Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pu Ru achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,812.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Ru erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.812,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
