In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Viewing Waterfall by Pu Quan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,722.49), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Quan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling In The Mountain in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Viewing Waterfall von Pu Quan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.722,49) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Quan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling In The Mountain im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
