Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Vanitas Still Life by The Pseudo-Roestraten was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,113.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by The Pseudo-Roestraten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Books, Musical Instruments And Other Objects On A Table Draped With An Oriental Carpet in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 63,069.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Vanitas Still Life von The Pseudo-Roestraten kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.113,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von The Pseudo-Roestraten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Of Books, Musical Instruments And Other Objects On A Table Draped With An Oriental Carpet im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 63.069,63).
