The work Turning by Prunella Clough was worth GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,163.13) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Sir Nicholas Goodison - British Art: Innovation and Craftsmanship at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Prunella Clough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen with Sprat Nets II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18).

Die Arbeit Turning von Prunella Clough war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.163,13) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Sir Nicholas Goodison - British Art: Innovation and Craftsmanship bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Prunella Clough auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishermen with Sprat Nets II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18).
