Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape with Fir Plantation by Prunella Clough was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,329.19). Admittedly, works by Prunella Clough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen with Sprat Nets II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape with Fir Plantation von Prunella Clough kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.329,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Prunella Clough auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishermen with Sprat Nets II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18).
