In September 2020 Christies in New York held the auction A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection, which included the work Untitled (Women and Horse) by Prokash Karmakar. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,335.72), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (Women and Horse) is even the most expensive work of art by Prokash Karmakar that we have observed at auctions so far.
