Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "S. Pietro in Vincoli II" by Prins Eugen was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,338.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prins Eugen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Molnet" (The Cloud) in December 2015 with an auction result of SEK 1,050,000.00 (€ 114,388.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "S. Pietro in Vincoli II" von Prins Eugen wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.338,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prins Eugen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Molnet" (The Cloud) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.050.000,00 (€ 114.388,99).
