Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sir William Eden, 7Th Baronet (1849-1915) by Paolo Troubetzkoy was sold in the Churchill to Eden: The Collection of the Earl and Countess of Avon auction at Christies in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,614.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paolo Troubetzkoy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,971.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sir William Eden, 7Th Baronet (1849-1915) von Paolo Troubetzkoy wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Churchill to Eden: The Collection of the Earl and Countess of Avon bei Christies in London versteigert.
