Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm, which included the work "Grinden" (the gate) by Primus Mortimer Pettersson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 14,500.00 (€ 1,686.33), 21% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Primus Mortimer Pettersson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Soluppgång", which sold at auction in October 2010 for SEK 39,000.00 (€ 4,185.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Grinden" (the gate) von Primus Mortimer Pettersson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 14.500,00 (€ 1.686,33) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Primus Mortimer Pettersson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Soluppgång" beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für SEK 39.000,00 (€ 4.185,19) versteigert wurde.
