Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Prabhakar Kolte was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2006. It achieved a price of USD 14,400.00 (€ 11,350.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Prabhakar Kolte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,404.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Prabhakar Kolte kam im September 2006 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 11.350,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Prabhakar Kolte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.404,22) versteigert wurde.
